Contoh Simulasi Spanning Tree Protocol

Disini penulis membuat implementasi STP pada suatu perusahaan yang bernama Rangga Mulmed. Dimana kantor tersebut terdapat tiga lantai, gambaran topologi dari jaringannya sebagai berikut :

Konfigurasi Perangkat


A.    Membuat vlan dan pemberian nama di  Switch Utama

Utama(config)#vlan 10
Utama(config-vlan)#name Multimedia
Utama(config-vlan)#vlan 20
Utama(config-vlan)#name Manajemen
Utama(config-vlan)#vlan 30
Utama(config-vlan)#name Tamu
Utama(config-vlan)#vlan 11
Utama(config-vlan)#name Native

B.    Aktifkan VTP

Switch Utama menjadi mode server

Utama(config)#vtp mode server
Device mode already VTP SERVER.
Utama(config)#vtp domain kantor.com
Changing VTP domain name from NULL to kantor.com
Utama(config)#vtp password 1234
Setting device VLAN database password to 1234

Switch Lantai 1, Switch Lantai 2, Switch Lantai 3

Lantai1(config)#vtp mode client
Device mode already VTP CLIENT.
Lantai1(config)#vtp domain kantor.com
Domain name already set to kantor.com.
Lantai1(config)#vtp password 1234
Password already set to 1234


Lantai2(config)#vtp mode client
Device mode already VTP CLIENT.
Lantai2(config)#vtp domain kantor.com
Domain name already set to kantor.com.
Lantai2(config)#vtp password 1234
Password already set to 1234

Lantai3(config)#vtp mode client
Device mode already VTP CLIENT.
